Tour Detail

Ujjain is an ancient city beside the Kshipra River in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. An important Hindu pilgrimage destination, it’s known for the centuries-old Mahakaleshwar Temple, a towering structure with a distinctively ornate roof. Nearby, Bade Ganesh Temple houses a colorful statue of Ganesh, the elephant-headed Hindu deity. Harsiddhi Temple features a pair of tall dark pillars studded with lamps.

Day 1: Home – Indore (By Flight / By Train)

Meet assist at Indore airport / railway station Or Ujjain railway station and transfer to Ujjain.

Arrive Ujjain and transfer to hotel.

Overnight in Ujjain hotel.

Day 2: Ujjain – Maheshwar – Omkareshwar (By Road) Duration 04 hrs. approx.

Early Morning visit Bhasm Aarti in Mahakal Darshan (04:00 AM – 05:30 AM)

Return to hotel after breakfast visit in Ujjain and later transfer to Omkareshwar enroute visit Maheshwar.

Overnight in Omkareshwar hotel.



Maheshwer

Maheshwar was a glorious city at the dawn of indian civilization when it was mahishmati, capital of king kartivarjun. This temple town on the banks of the river Narmada finds mention in the epics of Ramayana and mahabharata.









Omkareshwar

Omkareshwar is a Hindu temple dedicated to God Shiva. It is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. It is on an island called Mandhata or Shivapuri in the Narmada river; the shape of the island is said to be like the Hindu ॐ symbol.

Day 3: Omkareshar – Ujjain / Indore (By Road) Duration 03 hrs. approx.

After breakfast visit in Omkareshwar and later transfer to Ujjain or Indore for back home.



Indore:

The Khajrana Ganesh temple, built by Rani Ahilyabai Holkar, is also a popular landmark in Indore and a famous tourist attraction. The Patalpani waterfalls make for a great picnic spot while the Sarafa Bazaar is heaven for foodies. The historic Lal Bagh palace is a brilliant piece of architecture and worth taking a tour of.



Rajwada

One of the most historical buildings in Madhya Pradesh, Rajwada Palace dates back to the eighteenth century. Built by the Holkars of the Maratha empire in 1776.



Kanch Mandir

One of the most popular Jain temples in India, the Kanch Mandir in Indore literally translates to ‘temple of glass’. The temple is renowned for the several glasa.
